Partnering with our communities to galvanize and develop confident and thriving Southeast Asian youths to become global change agents through Health, Education, Agriculture, Recreation and Technology.
BeYou is our ongoing cohort program designed to empower youth and young adults with the skills they need to become leaders and advocates in their communities. It provides a supportive space that nurtures personal growth and leadership development.
Every year we choose students in Laos to receive our Student of Hope Box. These boxes, filled with school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and warm blankets, were more than gifts; they symbolized hope and opportunity. Selected for their kindness and community spirit, not just academic achievements.
Our first school in Laos was built in 2014, Ban Phawai, Laos. We visit on site annually with our AHE Team to host workshops and donate school supplies to the students.
Showdown for Hope is our annual sports tournaments started in 2015 to showcase our community's recreational sports athletes. The sports we spotlight are volleyball, flag football, and traditional Hmong Dance competitions.
The Hope and Wellness program employs culturally and linguistically competent mental health professionals to offer services to the Southeast Asian community (SEA), specifically focusing on the Hmong population. The program is tailored to aid Hmong individuals (YOUTHS and ADULTS) experiencing mild to severe emotional disturbances, significant challenges related to acculturation and mental health, and those who require ongoing community-based support services.
At our Community-Based Organization, we work as one cohesive team dedicated to serving our community. Each member brings unique skills and perspectives, but we share a common mission and work collaboratively to achieve our goals.
